Recently read a story in the LA Weekly which reports that Ray Bradbury, sci-fi author of Fahrenheit 451, denies that 451 was about censorship. Contrary to most "learned" opinionators, "Bradbury, a man living in the creative and industrial center of reality TV and one-hour dramas (Los Angeles), says it is, in fact, a story about how television destroys interest in reading literature."
